Ms. Carson’s background is rich in cultural experiences and creativity, shaped by her worldly upbringing. Each location she experienced left a lasting impact on her life. Living in Guam, experiencing the rich history and diverse artistry of South Africa and traveling through other inspiring locations have broaden her artistic perspective. Becoming a certified scuba diver while living in Hawai’i and scenic train rides home through Northern Italy deepened her appreciation and passion for both nature and art. Discovering reefs uncovered at low tide and museum visits filled with works of art by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo have been endless sources of inspiration.
These global experiences, along with adapting to various lifestyles and collecting tangible memories, have inspired Ms. Carson to use art-based creative, verbal, and experimental methods as tools to enhance the learning process. She strives to spark curiosity in young learners, encouraging them to explore the world around them, practice patience, sharpen observational skills, and build confidence.
Nice to meet you.
